Hello! I’m Alana.

Thanks for stopping by! I grew up in PTBO but I recently bought a home in Little Britain! A couple of things about me: My husband and I have an adorable Border Collie/Australian Shepherd/Bernese Mountain dog mix puppy. Her name is Ripley - she’s named after Erin Ripley from Alien! I have an obsession with house plants and started growing my own veggies! I’ve just started making my own Kombucha and ginger beer. I’m also a Wedding/Family/Lifestyle photographer! Now that you know a little bit about me, here is some background to how I got into design. I started learning about design in high school, from grades 9 - 12 I took Communication Technology and in grade 12 I took Yearbook as extra credit. From there, it was obvious that  I wanted to work in Graphic Design. I attended Durham College for Graphic Design and graduated with an Advanced Diploma. For my final semester, I landed a 3-month placement at Flare Magazine in Toronto. After my placement, I moved back to Peterborough and started working in Lindsay, Ontario at a web design studio. After my time at there I went to York U for a certificate in Digital Marketing. I am currently using my Graphic Design and Marketing skills at a furniture company in Ajax, Ontario.
